On January 1, 2022, changes to The Human Rights Code (“The Code”) will come into effect. These legislative changes were passed by the Government of Manitoba on May 20, 2021. This means that there will be important changes to how complaints are dealt with by the Manitoba Human Rights Commission (“Commission”) and the Manitoba Human Rights Adjudication Panel.
